New Zealand Hot Water Association

About Us

The New Zealand Hot Water Association (NZHWA) promotes the uptake of energy efficient water heating options which harness renewable energy.

The NZHWA was founded in 2008 by a group of New Zealand Heat Pump Water Heating suppliers and manufacturers, including CJ Energy Services, Climatech, Econergy, ECOsystems Limited, Hot Water Heat Pumps, Next Energy, Parex Industries, Reliance Worldwide and Rheem New Zealand.

The founding companies share a commitment to encouraging New Zealand homeowners to adopt renewable water heating technologies, and to move away from reliance on fossil fuels.

The NZHWA works in collaboration with homeowners, builders and specifiers, trade, industry and consumer associations, and government and officials to promote domestic water heating options that are tailored to New Zealand's climate and energy landscape, including heat pump, solar and electric storage.

Heat pump, solar and electric storage water heating options provide cost-effective, reliable hot water, while harnessing renewable energy. Visit any one of our members websites for more information in specific products.
